STUDIO AKAKIR specializes in artistic direction, visual identities, and editorial communication. 

Founded in 2016 by Walid Bouchouchi, STUDIO AKAKIR supports its clients in the implementation of brand strategies, visual communication, the creation of logos, and the design of printed objects. His current work involves building bridges between Latin and Arabic typography.  

Walid also works on cultural projects that tend to cross that same bridge.  

With this artist collaboration for the SS22 collection, we wanted to share a message of love and humanity by linking our respective cultures and languages.

Therefore, “FOR A BETTER WORLD” is written on the back of our t-shirt in Arabic, and on the front “STUDIO AKAKIR” is written in Arabic mixed with “Merely Made” in Korean language. 

 Through this SS22 collection inspired by the Sahara desert, we wanted to share the Saharan culture by spreading this positive message and including both of our respective languages: Arabic and Korean.  Love and cultural acceptance has no language barrier.
